My work in sculpture, performance and installation draws fluidity and change into focus. I choreograph moments to consider energies flowing through us and our environment.
I consider relationships that perpetuate the appearance of a fixed and stable world. Focusing on connections between entities rather than the entities themselves I emphasize the significance of the spaces in between.

Using sound as a vehicle for the flow of energy between connecting elements, my work evokes transition and impermanence. A series of performance works investigate using space itself as a compositional element. Looking at the space between sounds these works use distance across a landscape to create rhythms from simultaneous sounds. The listener and their physical position in the space becomes an integral part in the rhythmic composition.
